I finished my undergraduate degree in Geosciences at Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2005 and completed my Master of Science in Geosciences at University of Oslo in 2011. My Master’s thesis was stratigraphy with biotic responses to the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) in the Central Basin of Spitsbergen. This research was based on quantitative foraminiferal analysis and data from sediment cores and samples. I also participated Svalex Arctic field course in 2010 during my master study.
I am currently working at Volcanic Basin Petroleum Research AS. I am actively involved in seafloor sampling projects (offshore sampling operation and reporting). I am also working on 2D and 3D seismic data interpretation and data management for various multi-client and consulting projects.
